Funded through a grant from the Immanuel Vision Foundation, Ric Miller has accepted a one-year position with Nebraska Lutheran Campus Ministry, Inc. (NeLCM), as a part-time director of planned giving development. According to Jon Fredricks, Campus Ministry Coordinator and Executive Director for NeLCM, the opportunity is a newly created position, funded through the grant.
A lifelong Nebraska Lutheran, Miller comes to NeLCM with a wide range of development experience, having served in positions at Bethphage (now Mosaic), the ALS Association – Midwest Chapter, New Cassel Foundation and Crossroads of Western Iowa. A graduate of Midland University, he has completed the Scola Donum training through the Academy of Planned Giving, Omaha. Miller is a member of Morning Star Lutheran Church.
Parallel to his part-time work with Nebraska Lutheran Campus Ministry, Miller was recently accepted in the PMA Program of the Nebraska Synod, and will study to complete this training.
A native of rural Sidney, Nebraska, Miller is married to Pam Ladehoff Miller, PharmD of Schuyler. She is a pharmacist at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha. They have two children, Shelby and Ryan.
Serving within ten campuses and communities across Nebraska, NeLCM is a ministry of the Nebraska Synod, ELCA.
